What a busy week it has been. Between working full time, four children, hubby that is away, assignment due and trying to pack for camping over the Easter weekend has made me a little frazzled! I felt a bit more at ease to see fellow peer Kim blogged about the juggle is the struggle. As I have been an online student for the majority of my degree, it is nice to hear that other students are going through the same experience.

Assignment one has been submitted and enjoyed reading many of my peer’s posts, that they felt the same way I did. Bonita also blogged about not having an easy time with the assignment. At first glance, I thought I had this. After further reading (I think I went through the Rat book about five times) and listening to the lecture and Way Station, I still felt that I was not on the right track. I searched on the net for a lesson plan and while I found many I did not feel that I was able to evaluate the plan correctly. I decided to use a lesson plan that I had developed for my professional experience.

I am beginning to start the next learning path (module 2) that is linked to assignment two (agh already!), we have to identify and develop specific knowledge about the somewhere we will use our ICT-enriched unit plan. I have been thinking about this a lot over the last few days. I am tossing up between creating an English or Legal Studies plan. This then got me thinking that I needed research on how to combine pedagogy and technology integration to make this a seamless process. If you also would like to know further information about this, have a read of this article by Prof. Shyamal Majumdar Emerging Trends in ICT for Education & Training”.

Though for the next few days, my somewhere will be with my gorgeous hubby and four kids camping. I hope you enjoy your “somewhere” over Easter.
